After weeks of rough
cutting, waiting , polishing and wet clothes, finally, the sun is out, and the
more interesting but also demanding work started.
I drafted the knot
design on the marble, using a brush, then finalized it with templates I
prepared in London. I now have to carve octagonal shapes first , which will be carved
into the ropes later.
I had a good couple of good days and the work is going
great, the October sun is finally back, but I had to change into my “
Guantanamo gear”, as the mornings are getting chilly here in the Appenin Mountains.
